Maruti Suzuki Specia 7-Seater MPV Car
To compete with French car company Renault’s Triber, domestic automaker Maruti Suzuki is going to launch an entry level mini MPV car in the Indian market. The name of this mini MPV being sold in the Japanese market is Suzuki Spacia. After coming to India, its name will be Maruti Suzuki Spacia. It is expected that the company can launch this MPV car in the market during 2026. Currently this vehicle is being sold in Japanese under the codename YDB. It is likely to get a 3-row seat layout and sliding doors. The company’s new Z-series 1.2-litre petrol engine can be given in it. It is being said that Maruti Suzuki may launch it in the market at a price of Rs 6 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Compact 7-Seater MPV Car
Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki will launch compact electric MPV in the second half of 2026. This car is also being sold in Japan under the codename YMC. The company will develop this car on the platform of the upcoming electric SUV car EVX. Maruti’s first MPV car YMC will get 3-row seating layout. This will be a 7 seater car. It is being said in media reports that Maruti’s upcoming new electric MPV can be given two battery pack options, one of which will be a 40 kWh battery. At the same time, its second battery will be of 60 kWh. Along with this, an electric motor will also be provided in it, which is expected to get a range of 550 kilometers on full charge.
New Gen Kia Carnival 7-Seater MPV Car
Kia Motors, a subsidiary of South Korean car company Hyundai, has unveiled the new gen Kia Carnival. The company will launch it in April 2024. Its price in India’s ex-showroom can be Rs 40 lakh. This MPV car of the company will come in 7, 9 and 11-seater layout as per the market. Three engine options have been given in the luxury MPV car, which include petrol, diesel and hybrid engines. The company has announced the addition of a new 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid powertrain. It is estimated that petrol engine option can be given in the Indian version of Carnival MPV.

triber based nissan 7-Seater MPV Car
Japanese car manufacturer Nissan Motor is working on an affordable 7-seater MPV car. This MPV car will be based on Renault Triber. It will be manufactured along with Triber at Renault’s Chennai plant. Mechanically, this new MPV will be similar to Triber, but its design and exterior will be quite different from Triber. This 7-seater MPV car can get a design like Magnite with a big grille, LED DRL and halogen headlamps.
