Lucknow. Ale Hasan Khan, a close aide of senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan and former police officer of Rampur Sadar, has been arrested by the police. In Rampur, Police Officer (City) Anuj Chaudhary said on Sunday that Ale Hasan Khan was arrested from his residence in Delhi late on Saturday night. According to Chaudhary, Ale Hasan Khan is co-accused in several criminal cases along with former minister Azam Khan. He has also been a police officer from Rampur Sadar in the past. According to Chaudhary, the special MP-MLA court had recently issued non-bailable warrants against Aale Hasan Khan for not appearing in two of these cases.

Police Officer (City) Anuj Chaudhary said that the former police officer has been arrested on the basis of this warrant.
