Former Jharkhand IAS officer Rajeev Kumar announced to contest Lok Sabha elections from Chatra.

Former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Rajeev Kumar will contest from Chatra parliamentary seat. Shri Kumar has been the former Fisheries Director of the state. He was also posted as Deputy Commissioner of Latehar and CEO of JSLPS. Mr. Kumar has started touring the area after the announcement of elections. He believes that Chatra Lok Sabha constituency is backward. There is a lot of potential for its development.

Meeting with villagers of the area

Former Deputy Commissioner of Latehar Rajiv Kumar reached Tasatbar village of Balumath block on Saturday. Here he held a meeting with the villagers. He said that on the demand of the people of Chatra Lok Sabha constituency, he has decided to contest elections from the area.

Door to door campaign will run to increase voting

Ranchi Municipal Corporation Deputy Administrator Anwar Hussain held a meeting and discussed increasing the number of voters in urban areas in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that people should vote in maximum numbers, this should be taken as a priority. For this, door to door voter awareness program should be run. He appealed to all the citizens to cast their vote first on the day of voting.
