Forecast of rain for three days in Bihar, Meteorological Department alerts farmers regarding crops

Bihar Weather: There is a possibility of change in the weather in Bihar at the beginning of the new year. According to IMD, western disturbance is likely to affect north-west India from December 29. Also, due to the effect of exposure to easterly winds in its lower atmosphere, there is a possibility of rain for three days between January 2 and 4. There is also a possibility of decrease in day temperature during this period. Due to its effect, fog may also remain for a few days. During this period the sky will remain cloudy. However, there is no possibility of any significant drop in temperature in North Bihar, East and Central Bihar in the next two-four days. In such a situation, the chances of severe cold are still far away. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to be careful regarding rain. IMD has advised farmers to make arrangements to keep their harvested and open Kharif crops in a safe place so that the crops can be protected from water or moisture.

Bihar in the grip of Purvaiya

IMD has issued an alert regarding rain and has given important advice especially to the farmers. The Meteorological Department has not yet issued any forecast, especially regarding the increase in cold. In fact, tremendous seasonal fluctuations are going on from central to north-western India. After the anti cyclone, western disturbance is also active in that area, while Bihar is still in the grip of Purvaiya, due to which the temperature is not decreasing.

Alert issued for farmers

According to IMD, due to western disturbance, the lower atmosphere of Bihar will be in contact with eastern wind. Due to this, fluctuations may be seen in the local weather. Senior meteorologist of the Meteorological Department, Ashish Kumar, has advised the farmers to take out the Kharif crop from the barn and keep it in a safe place, so that the crop is not affected by the rain. Similarly, necessary advice has also been given to protect against moisture. However, meteorologists say that this rain is likely to have a positive impact on the wheat crop. At present, the maximum temperature in the state is still three to five degrees above normal and the minimum temperature is one to four degrees above normal.

possibility of fog

IMD experts say that dense fog is visible everywhere in north-western India. The temperature in those areas has also reduced considerably. However, partial impact of this development can be seen only in South Bihar. Moderate to heavy fog may be seen at some places in South Bihar for the next two-four days. However, this will happen in a very limited area.

If the temperature does not come down soon, there is a possibility of the yield being affected.

The weather is relatively warm this time. Due to this, there is a possibility of damage to wheat and mustard crops. Due to sunlight, the moisture of the fields is decreasing rapidly. In such a situation, more irrigation of wheat may have to be done. Due to this, there is a possibility of increase in the cost of farming and the yield may also be affected. Agricultural scientists say that at present the average temperature is higher than normal. The sun is shining very brightly. Increase in temperature has an adverse effect on the Rabi crop. Due to increased heat, the ears of wheat will remain small. The grains will also become smaller and shrink. Whereas in mustard crop also, due to strong sunlight and heat, the grains become smaller and the amount of oil in it reduces. If the temperature does not drop in the coming days, then farmers will have to irrigate immediately due to low humidity. Therefore, farmers should keep taking stock of the condition of their fields.
