Fog hits Bihar, dozens of trains including Rajdhani delayed by 14 hours, half a dozen flights also canceled

Dozens of trains have been delayed due to fog. Tejas Rajdhani remained delayed for about 14 hours. Due to fog, bad weather and operational reasons, three pairs of flights coming to and returning from Patna were canceled on Monday. Many trains including Mahabodhi Express have opened late.

Train operations affected due to fog

Train operations are being affected due to dense fog. The situation is that Tejas Rajdhani Express is also running late by several hours due to dense fog. On Thursday, Tejas Rajdhani Express coming from Delhi to Patna reached Patna late by 14.25 hours, which also affected UP. Due to delay, the train will leave from Patna Junction for Delhi with a delay of 10 hours 50 minutes on Friday instead of overnight. Due to the train not starting on time, the condition of the people waiting for the train was miserable. Similarly, Sampoornakranti Express reached Patna Junction late by 13 hours, Magadh Express by 11 hours 50 minutes, Hatia Express by 8 hours 45 minutes, Shramjeevi Express by two and a half hours, Vikramshila Express by 15 hours 15 minutes, Brahmaputra Mail by 7.5 hours and Indore Patna Express by four hours.

Rajdhani Express also ran late

Mahabodhi Express train going from Gaya to Delhi opened three hours late from Gaya railway station on Thursday. During this period, railway passengers had to face difficulties in traveling by train. It is said that due to fog, many trains going to the states are running late. It is said that Doon Express train, Kalka Express train and Rajdhani Express train ran late.

Three pairs of Patna flights canceled

Here, due to fog, bad weather and operational reasons, three pairs of flights coming to and returning from Patna remained canceled on Monday. These included IndiGo flight 6E6452 arriving from Bengaluru to Patna at 8:10 pm, IndiGo flight 6E2074 arriving from Delhi to Patna at 12 noon and SpiceJet flight SG8729 arriving from Delhi to Patna at 10:55 am. Along with this, nine planes arrived late. Of these, the delay of four aircraft was more than an hour.

Flight service affected, chaos..

Indigo flight 6E2185, which arrived from Delhi at 6:20 pm, was delayed by one hour 28 minutes and landed at 7:48 pm and returned to Delhi with almost the same delay. Air India flight AI732, which arrived from Mumbai to Patna at 1:55 pm, arrived late by one hour and seven minutes and returned to Mumbai with the same delay. Similarly, the flight coming from Delhi at 3:25 pm was delayed by two hours and 35 minutes, arrived at 6 pm and departed with the same delay. Due to this delay, the passengers faced problems and they also expressed their anger on the ground staff. Apart from this, five pairs of flights arrived and departed late by less than an hour.

Major trains coming to Muzaffarpur late

Due to cold and fog in North India, dozens of trains are running late by 10 to 20 hours. On Thursday, 10 major trains including Gondia Barauni, Clone, Vaishali, Bihar Sampark Kranti, Saptkranti, Swatantrata Senani Superfast coming to Muzaffarpur from North India arrived late. 15232 Godinya Express arrived 12 hours late. The same 02563 Clone Express started late by 14 hours 20 minutes from Barauni.
