Uproar at Patna airport

The first flight to be canceled was IndiGo’s 6E653, which travels from Chennai to Patna. Its landing time was 2.05 pm and more than 150 passengers had reached Patna airport between 12 noon and 1 pm to go to Chennai.

But when they suddenly came to know that the flight was cancelled, they became worried. Those who returned their tickets and wanted to get a refund were given money. But those who were very keen to go to Chennai started creating ruckus. Later, the airlines made arrangements to send such people to Chennai by connecting flight from Delhi. Indigo flight 6E2214 coming from Delhi was also canceled at 5:45 pm, while the passengers to go to Delhi had already reached the security hold area after going through the security check.

After the uproar among the passengers, arrangements were made to send them to Delhi by another plane. Similarly, Indigo flight to Hyderabad was also canceled at 5:55 pm, due to which the passengers got angry. Later his ticket was rescheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday and sent to Hyderabad on another connecting flight.

Despite clear weather, eight planes arrived late on Monday due to operational reasons. Indigo flight 6E6451 coming from Bengaluru arrived one hour late at 7:30 pm and Indigo flight from Delhi arrived one hour late by one minute at 8:41 pm. The other six pairs of flights were delayed by less than an hour.
