Sarpanch of Majhari Panchayat Ramanand Yadav told that information about water entering the houses has been given to the Circle Officer. He told that water has entered more than 50 houses in Mazhari Panchayat. Risking their lives, people are wading through flood waters and moving towards higher places.

If erosion continues at this rate, very soon the entire Bhasia village will merge into the river. The villagers have demanded the administration to stop river erosion.
