Police officials of Patna district are conducting flag march in their respective areas regarding the consecration of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. Earlier on Sunday also, Patna Police had taken out a flag march in sensitive areas of the city. Since Monday morning, the Rapid Action Force and police station chiefs under the leadership of Patna City SP, ASP and DSP have been touring the areas. Search operations are also being conducted in every nook and corner of the sensitive areas. Patna Police is also keeping an eye on inflammatory speeches and social media. If anyone makes an inflammatory speech or posts an inflammatory message on social media, strict action will be taken against him. A technical team has also been deployed for this.
SSP Rajeev Mishra has instructed all police station incharges to take immediate action if they see any suspicious object or person near religious places. A procession will be taken out in various areas of the city sometime today, orders have also been given to keep a watch on it. If any anti-social element is seen in the procession or is found creating a ruckus, he will be immediately detained. Instructions have also been given not to allow the procession to stop near Atal Path, Gangapath, Bailey Road and sensitive areas.
Diversion of commercial vehicles
Movement of commercial vehicles from top to bottom of R Block towards Income Tax Golambar has been banned today. From here these vehicles will be diverted towards Harding Road and GPO. Commercial vehicles will not ply from GPO Golambar towards Kotwali. From here these vehicles will be diverted towards R Block intersection. Buses, autos, e-rickshaws etc. will not ply from Income Tax Golambar. From here these vehicles will be diverted to Veerchand Patel Path. Autos and e-rickshaws coming towards Gandhi Maidan will be allowed to go to Gandhi Maidan via Voltas turn via Vidyapati Marg, Buddha Marg via Police Line.
