Went. A sudden fire broke out in the electric pole wire at around 2 pm in Shaheed Road of Kotwali police station area of the city. Due to this incident, power supply was disrupted in the said area for about four hours. Amar Kumar, a businessman from the local locality, has expressed the possibility that this incident happened due to overload on the electricity pole wire. After repairs by the department, power supply was restored in the area at around 6:30 pm. There is no information about any casualty in this incident. Here, Amit Kumar, SDO of Gol Pathar Subdivision of South Bihar Power Distribution Company, said that after receiving information about the fire, the power was immediately cut and repairs were started. After the repairs were completed, power supply was restored in the evening. He expressed his inability to explain the reason for the incident.
