To maintain peace in the entire area on the occasion of this great festival of two-day Holi, the administration was patrolling the entire area under the supervision of Rajpur Police and senior officials. In all the villages of the area, people celebrated Holi in a very peaceful manner, from Holika Dahan to the celebration of colors, with mutual brotherhood. On Tuesday morning, people played Holi by tearing their kurtas vigorously. They applied colors and gulal to each other and congratulated each other, which continued till late evening. At some places in the village chaupalas, collective Holi songs were organized by the villagers while cherishing the traditional memories. Due to this atmosphere, the whole area remained colorful with colours. Ancient Fagua song was organized on the occasion of Holi in Mangrao village. In this Fagua song, with the help of villagers including Madan Sah, Prafull Gupta, Ramashray Rajbhar, Rameshwar Sah, Sanjay Rai, Manoj Rajbhar, Bhagwan Rajbhar, Balbir Sah, Vidyasagar Bairagi, the ancient musical instruments Dholak, Tasa and Jhal Majira are sung. The artists brought together old memories through the songs of Fagua. These artists poured out Abeer in Bengali…..Babu Kunwar Singh Tejwa Bahadur…. And the whole atmosphere remained devotional on devotional and patriotic Fagua songs like ‘Khad Suraj Uge Se Pehle’ in Siyaji Anganve. Humorous jokes were expressed among the people through natural songs and decorative songs. Villagers from other villages including Makardhwaj Singh, Keshlal Singh, Vakil Yadav, Shyam Kumar Singh were present on the spot.
