Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are coming together for the film Fighter being directed by Siddharth Anand. As the film is moving towards its release date, fans are becoming very excited.
You will be surprised to know that Fighter is releasing on the same day as Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan in the year 2023. This movie took the theaters by storm. The same is being expected from this movie also.
This explosive film also stars actors like Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Talat Aziz, Sanjeev Jaiswal, Rishabh Sahni and Ashutosh Rana. Backed by Siddharth Anand, it is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. Notably, it is also the first film in the aerial action franchise.
Seeing the trailer of the film, it was easy to guess that it is a patriotic film revolving around the Air Force. In view of the increasing terrorist activities along the Line of Control, some of the top fighter pilots of the IAF came together and formed a special unit called Air Dragons.
During a media event, Shahrukh Khan also revealed about the film and said, “I have heard the story of Fighter and, I have to tell you that Deepika is the real fighter in the film. Hrithik has romantic interest.
With good response in pre-sales, advance booking of the fighter started from Saturday morning. By the evening of 22 January, the film sold approximately 50,000 tickets across two major multiplexes in India. It is being said that it can earn up to Rs 40 crore on the opening day.
The Central Board of Film Certification suggested some changes to the film and gave it a U/A certificate. It has been told in the report that the run time of the film will be 166 minutes. This is also made with a huge budget of Rs 250 crore.
There are five songs in the film Fighter, which also includes a heart touching song. As of now, the singles have been removed from the album. The first ‘Sher Khul Gaye’ was released on December 15, 2023, and is currently topping the charts. The next song was ‘Ishq Jaisa Kuch Tha’ which was released on 22 December 2023, followed by the third single named ‘Heer Aasmani’ which was released on 8 January 2024.
Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ had sold 10 lakh tickets as advance booking in early 2023. Talking about South films, Prabhas and Prashant Neel’s action film Salaar had earned more than Rs 60 crore through advance booking at the global level. Hrithik Roshan’s last film Vikram Vedha was a huge flop at the box office, but it looks like he will make a grand comeback with Fighter. Fans like to see him in Greek God avatar.
