Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Fighter has been making huge money at the box office ever since it was released in theatres. The movie received a lot of love from the audience as well as the audience.
Fighter earned around Rs 7.75 crore in India on the sixth day i.e. Tuesday. After which its total collection till now in India has become Rs 134.25 crore. On the sixth day, the film got an occupancy of about 12.77 percent.
The aerial action film had a good opening and picked up during the Republic Day weekend. The film saw a decline in its collections during the weekdays, which is quite expected.
Meanwhile, Fighter is performing well at the box office with earnings of Rs 225 crore worldwide. However, this film is inferior to director Siddharth Anand’s previous films – Pathan and War.
Talking about Fighter, film trade Sumit Kadel tweeted, “The crash of Fighter on Monday has dealt a blow to both trade and industry. No one expected that there would be such a huge fall in it on Monday.!!”
The lead actors in Fighter are Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. It was released on January 25, exactly a year after Pathan. It is produced by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures.
In Fighter, Hrithik Roshan has been brought in the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty and Deepika Padukone has been brought in the role of Squadron Leader Minal Rathod aka Minnie.
Anil Kapoor joins the cast as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky in this high-octane patriotic drama that revolves around his characters fighting for the country.
This film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Hrithik and Deepika and their chemistry has been loved by the audience. Talking about OTT release, it can be released on Netflix.
