Fierce fire in Jharkhand-Bengal transport warehouse, loss of more than one crore

Fire in Jamshedpur: A fire broke out in the godown of Jharkhand-Bengal Transport near Shivghat bucket factory under Jugsalai police station at around 5.30 pm on Wednesday. The fire took a fierce form in a moment. As soon as the information was received, six fire engines reached the spot and efforts were started to control the fire. Three fire tenders, two from Tata Steel and one from Tata Motors brought the fire under control after three hours of effort. To control the fire, the fire personnel poured water after breaking the tin shed at many places. Efforts were made to control the fire completely by continuously pouring water on the debris inside the godown. The Jugsalai police continued to control the crowd of local people. A loss of more than one crore rupees has been estimated in the arson. There is a possibility of fire due to short circuit.
