Lady Constable Murder In Patna: A female constable from Bhagalpur was murdered in Patna. The husband shot his wife dead in the room of Hotel Meenakshi located on Station Road in Kotwali police station area. After this the husband absconded. The hotel owner informed the police two hours after the incident. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Shobha Kumari, a resident of Saidabad in Kako police station area of ​​Jehanabad. The husband has also been identified as 28-year-old Gajendra Kumar, resident of Saidabad, Jehanabad. Shobha was a female constable of 2022 batch in Bhagalpur and was undergoing training in BSAP (Bihar Special Arms Police). She had come to Patna for duty during Durga Puja. Joined Patna City on 16th October. According to the information, the husband first brutally beat the female constable’s wife and then killed her by shooting her in the head.

Two pistols were also recovered from the room

After receiving information about the murder, DSP Law in Order Krishna Murari Prasad and Kotwali SHO Sanjeet Kumar reached the spot. After this the FSL team was also called. After the post-mortem on Saturday, it will be known how many bullets the woman has received and where the injuries are. Two pistols have also been recovered from the room. Police confiscated the belongings and mobile phone of the female constable from the room. The FSL team has taken many samples from bed, wall, basin, table and door. Katta has also been sent for FSL investigation.

There was also a bag brought by husband Gajendra and a soldier’s bag on the table. The basin in the room was broken.

The murder of the female constable was planned by her husband Gajendra a few days ago. As soon as he came to know that his wife was on duty in Patna, he reached there with his nefarious intentions. According to the information, Shobha came to Patna on 16 October. On the same day, her husband Gajendra also left from Jehanabad in the name of bringing medicines for his cancer-stricken father. Gajendra escaped after killing his wife within just one and a half hour, due to which the police now have full suspicion that Gajendra had already made complete preparations for the murder. He had booked the hotel only for the purpose of murder. Police have recovered the pistol from the room. It was found in CCTV that Gajendra had a bag on his shoulder. He left that bag in the hotel room and ran away.

Hotel operator’s statement..

The hotel operator told that Gajendra came to the hotel late on Thursday evening at around 6.38 pm and booked a room. During booking he told that he would stay in the room with his wife. When the staff asked about his wife, Gajendra said that he was a policeman and was deployed on Durga Puja duty. Gave Aadhaar cards of both. After staying overnight in room number 303, Gajendra left in the morning. Next day Gajendra comes to the room with his wife Shobha. At around 9.30 he came down and asked the staff where to get puri-sabzi breakfast here. Saying this he ran away.
