Meteorologists said that after the change in temperature in the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of no significant change in the weather for the next three days. There was severe cold winds on Thursday also. The maximum temperature of the city decreased by two degrees Celsius and was recorded at 19.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 11.6 degrees Celsius.

Severe cold expected till January 15

There are chances of severe cold in the state between 12th and 15th January. During this period, cold day or cold wave conditions may occur at one or two places in the state. IMD Patna has issued an alert and advisory to avoid cold in the forecast. This change in weather is going to happen due to the activity of western disturbance.

According to the forecast of IMD Patna, there is a possibility of cold westerly blowing at the speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour in the state for the next three days from Friday to Sunday. Due to this, the maximum temperature is likely to drop to four to six degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature to fall below 10 degrees Celsius. IMD has advised the people of the state to take measures to protect themselves from cold. Wear warm clothes and drink hot beverages. Weather changed in Bihar due to activation of Western Disturbance

According to IMD’s senior meteorologist Ashish Kumar, icy cold westerlies and north-westers are continuously blowing in the sky. Two to three degree drop in North Bihar

The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius in Sabour on January 11. The highest maximum temperature of the state has been recorded in Sabour itself at 23 degrees Celsius.

The mercury fell 5.1 degrees below normal in Darbhanga.

Despite being wrapped in thick clothes, I continued to feel chill. Because of this, people hid in their homes as the evening approached. Roads along with squares and intersections became deserted.

Patna’s air quality improves, Bhagalpur’s air quality worse than Delhi
