Fake currency trading gang busted, Sitamarhi police arrested three people from Nepal border

The arrested youth was interrogated by the police of Pupri police station, during which both the youth told that fake notes are printed at the house of Alok Kumar, resident of Pupri Municipal Council Ward No. 6. After which the police took action and raided Alok Kumar’s house. During this period printer, fake notes and some documents were also recovered. While taking action, the police also confiscated Alok Kumar’s Bolero.

Pupri SDPO Atanu Dutta told that Alok had got the news of raid at his house, after which Alok absconded. During the raid, 8 lakh 60 thousand Nepali fake currency and 18 lakh 3 thousand 500 Indian currency along with some foreign dollars were also recovered. Atanu Dutta said that among the arrested criminals, Avneet Kumar, Vikas Kumar and Sushil Kumar have been sent to jail in judicial custody after interrogation. The police are continuously conducting raids to arrest Alok.
