By the way, a news is becoming increasingly viral, in which claims are being made regarding people’s salary and weekly leave in the new year. It is being claimed in the news that in the new year the Central Government can make a big announcement regarding the salary and week off of the common people.

What is being claimed in the viral post?

In the post going viral on social media, it is being claimed that the government is bringing a three-day week off policy in the new year. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is seen in the viral post. It is being claimed in the post that the general budget will be presented on 1 February 2024, in which the government will make an announcement regarding the weekoff policy for three days. Besides, a big announcement will also be made regarding holidays and salary.

Claims are being made regarding 10 to 12 hours work

It is also being claimed in the viral post that the government is bringing a three-day week off policy, after which employees may have to work 4 days and 10 to 12 hours a week. It is also being claimed that cash in hand may decrease in the budget, but PF will be increased. It is being claimed that the Narendra Modi government at the Center is planning to immediately implement the labor law.

PIB has completely rejected the claims being made regarding the general budget in the new year. PIB’s Fact Check team investigated the viral news and messages and found that all the claims are fake. PIB said, all the claims being made regarding three day week off policy and salary cut are fake and no such proposals have been given by the Finance Ministry.
