Woman dies of snakebite in Gaya
A woman died of snakebite on Wednesday in Chakkan Bigha village located in Majhiyawan panchayat of Gaya. The deceased has been identified as Kanti Devi, 48-year-old wife of Jitendra Singh. According to relatives, the woman was bitten by a wheat snake. After this there was chaos in the house. Everyone took the woman to Paraiya Hospital, from where, seeing her deteriorating condition, she was hurriedly referred to ANMMCH. The woman died during treatment.
