He said that low-cost sensors have been installed in all 534 block offices of the state with the help of IIT Kanpur. Devendra Kumar Shukla said that the air quality forecasting system will issue alerts, so that the concerned officials and common people can take necessary steps accordingly. He said that this system can provide timely information about the upcoming air quality index, which can be used by the administration to reduce the risk of the most polluting activities.
