Exclusive: Was a science student, had to understand accounts for half CA – Gyanendra Tripathi

Passed from FTII in 2011, but got the first opportunity even before that. One of my seniors was coming from Pune to Mumbai to give an audition for Crime Patrol. I also came with him and the circumstances became such that I also gave the audition. I got selected instead of senior. After completing the course, he started appearing in big roles in Crime Patrol. Everything was going well, I was getting recognition and money but I realized that I was tied to it. I had to create an identity and then break it. There is a separate circle of TV, separate of films and web series. I quit TV. A scene was found in the film Gabbar is back and it was liked a lot. After that the night is lonely, when Poorna came, people noticed. Took a long time. The struggle is still going on. I think struggle happens in everyone’s life, since we are actors. When we get a platform, we share our struggle.
