On Sunday, two parties started making allegations and counter-allegations against each other regarding the cricket match in Nai Basti of Thana Kotwali area in Etawah. In no time, a fight started between them and then there was stone pelting. On getting the information, the police and administration officials reached the spot and controlled the situation.

Videos regarding the incident are also going viral, in which people are seen pelting stones. There is also talk of firing. It is being told that this dispute took place between two groups regarding a cricket match on Sunday. Earlier, there was tension between both the sides regarding the discussion of the cricket match. Tension has further increased in the area after Sunday’s incident.

ASP Rural, Satyapal Singh told that there had been a dispute and fight between the two sides earlier also regarding the matter of the cricket team. After this, once again the incident of stone pelting took place due to increasing dispute between them. Action was taken as soon as the matter came to notice. Now a case has been registered against the accused under serious sections. He denied firing in the incident.

According to the Additional Superintendent of Police, when there was a dispute, people from both sides pelted stones at each other. Although no one got hurt. Some of the accused have been arrested. The remaining people will also be caught by the police soon, their search is on. He said that the investigation of the incident has been started. Further action will be taken on the basis of investigation.
