Carts will not be installed around Gandhi Maidan

Traffic SP said that handcarts and street vendors have been banned in the Gandhi Maidan area on the day of Ravana Dahan. Apart from this, there will also be a ban on entry of vehicles. Apart from this, no vehicle will ply from Bhattacharya Road intersection towards Gandhi Maidan via Ramgulam Chowk. Vehicles of any kind will be prohibited from moving from Ashok Rajpath towards West (Kargil Chowk) via Govind Mitra Road. Along with this, there will be no movement of any type of vehicles from Thakurbari turn, Bakarganj turn towards West Gandhi Maidan.

This route will be safe for VIP persons

The road from Dakbungalow intersection to JP Golambar (Gandhi Maidan) will be reserved for the movement of VIPs only. Whereas from Dakbungla intersection, all types of vehicles can go towards Rajendra Path via New Dakbungla and Bhattacharya turn. Entry of vehicles from New Dak Bungalow to SP Verma Road will be completely restricted. Those vehicles who want to go east from the station can go via CDA building. People going west can go through R block.

No vehicles will run on this route

Traffic SP said that no vehicles will be able to move from all the cuttings of IMA Hall, Hotel Panas, Twin Tower, Maurya Hotel towards Gandhi Maidan. Whereas vehicles going from Bailey Road towards Gandhi Maidan will be diverted from Income Tax Golambar to the right Veerchand Patel Path. All roads leading east (Gandhi Maidan) from Kotwali T to Police Line Tiraha in Buddha Marg will remain closed for vehicular traffic.

You can use these routes for Patna Junction

Those who want to go from Patna City via Ashok Rajpath towards Gandhi Maidan or Patna Junction, can go from Gandhi Chowk via Bhikhna Pahadi Mor, Bari Path from Machhua Toli to Dinkar Golambar, Nala Road, Apsara Golambar, CDA Building towards Patna Junction. At the same time, movement of vehicles towards Gandhi Maidan from in front of the Commissioner’s office (Golambar on JP Ganga Path) will be completely prohibited.

There will be parking of vehicles here

Vehicles holding passes issued for the Ravana slaughter program will be allowed to reach the designated parking spot. Even after the end of the programme, all these vehicles will be taken out only after the traffic becomes normal. Parking arrangements have been made for them in AN Sinha Institute campus, Gyan Bhawan and SBI campus. The area on Ganga Path has been reserved for parking for vehicles without pass.
