Patna Police has released a plan to make changes in the traffic system of the city regarding Dussehra, so that people do not have to face the problem of jams and congestion. On Thursday, Traffic SP Puran Jha and DSP Anil Kumar gave this information. He said that the traffic police will keep a close watch on the bike riders who create ruckus during the festival. For this, traffic police will be deployed at the intersections of the city. Apart from this, space has been marked for temporary parking of vehicles, people will have to park their vehicles there.
Carts will not be installed around Gandhi Maidan
Traffic SP said that handcarts and street vendors have been banned in the Gandhi Maidan area on the day of Ravana Dahan. Apart from this, there will also be a ban on entry of vehicles. Apart from this, no vehicle will ply from Bhattacharya Road intersection towards Gandhi Maidan via Ramgulam Chowk. Vehicles of any kind will be prohibited from moving from Ashok Rajpath towards West (Kargil Chowk) via Govind Mitra Road. Along with this, there will be no movement of any type of vehicles from Thakurbari turn, Bakarganj turn towards West Gandhi Maidan.
This route will be safe for VIP persons
The road from Dakbungalow intersection to JP Golambar (Gandhi Maidan) will be reserved for the movement of VIPs only. Whereas from Dakbungla intersection, all types of vehicles can go towards Rajendra Path via New Dakbungla and Bhattacharya turn. Entry of vehicles from New Dak Bungalow to SP Verma Road will be completely restricted. Those vehicles who want to go east from the station can go via CDA building. People going west can go through R block.
No vehicles will run on this route
Traffic SP said that no vehicles will be able to move from all the cuttings of IMA Hall, Hotel Panas, Twin Tower, Maurya Hotel towards Gandhi Maidan. Whereas vehicles going from Bailey Road towards Gandhi Maidan will be diverted from Income Tax Golambar to the right Veerchand Patel Path. All roads leading east (Gandhi Maidan) from Kotwali T to Police Line Tiraha in Buddha Marg will remain closed for vehicular traffic.
You can use these routes for Patna Junction
Those who want to go from Patna City via Ashok Rajpath towards Gandhi Maidan or Patna Junction, can go from Gandhi Chowk via Bhikhna Pahadi Mor, Bari Path from Machhua Toli to Dinkar Golambar, Nala Road, Apsara Golambar, CDA Building towards Patna Junction. Can go. At the same time, all types of vehicles coming from Danapur towards Gandhi Maidan will go from Rajapur Bridge towards the right Boring Road intersection. All types of vehicles coming from Patna Junction to Gandhi Maidan will go from Patna Junction via New Dakbungla Road to Bhattacharya Square. From there it will go from Bhattacharya turn to CDA building via Goriyatoli and again till Patna Junction.
Ambulance at gate number 4 and 5 for emergency
The route between JP Golambar to Children Park will be safe. In case of any emergency, people will be taken to Tara Hospital or PMCH and other nearby hospitals through this route. Normal traffic will be completely restricted on this route. For emergencies, ambulance facility will be available at gate numbers four and five of Gandhi Maidan. Apart from this, there will be arrangements for nursing at all the gates of Gandhi Maidan. At the same time, movement of vehicles towards Gandhi Maidan from in front of the Commissioner’s office (Golambar on JP Ganga Path) will be completely prohibited.
There will be parking of vehicles here
Vehicles holding passes issued for the Ravana slaughter program will be allowed to reach the designated parking spot. Even after the end of the programme, all these vehicles will be taken out only after the traffic becomes normal. Parking arrangements have been made for them in AN Sinha Institute campus, Gyan Bhawan and SBI campus. The area on Ganga Path has been reserved for parking for vehicles without pass. Apart from this, parking arrangements have also been made in Maurya Lok Complex. There will be a ban on parking on the road in the entire Exhibition Road from Ramgulam Chowk. There will be a ban on parking of vehicles on the road from District Magistrate residence to Police Line Tiraha. Parking of any type of vehicle, handcart, stall etc. will be prohibited on the road from JP Golambar to Dakbungalow intersection and from Dakbungalow intersection to Patna Junction Golambar. Apart from this, there will be a ban on parking all around outside Gandhi Maidan and also inside Gandhi Maidan.
