Composer Pritam says the music of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is inspired by songs from Hindi films of the 1999s. The composer said that Karan wanted the film to have songs that would remind the audience of “90s romance”. Pritam told reporters here, “He (Karan) wanted long songs… So the composition of the songs was changed. There are two ‘antaras’ in each song and they are about five to six minutes long.” He told that if you watch the entire film, you will find that it is a film full of old memories, emotions and everyone is singing old songs.
