Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt remembers Kuljit Pal
Veteran filmmaker Kuljit Pal passed away at the age of 90. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who directed Arth, remembered Kuljeet after his death. Speaking to ETimes, he said, Kuljeet, whom I fondly called Kuli, was a giver – a huge man with an extraordinary sense of humour. He used to laugh at himself and at the situations around him. If it were not for his influence on my life, I would not have created my enduring classic meaning. It took a brave heart to create meaning, and Kuljeet was a brave man.
