Employment Opportunities: Skill development center will open in Gida, thousands of youth will get jobs.

Gorakhpur: Vigorous preparations are being made to make the 34th foundation day celebration of GIDA grand and memorable by making it full of achievements. In this, not only will investment projects worth crores of rupees from the private sector be given, but also the opportunity to make the local youth industry friendly for employment. Steps will also be taken in this direction. GIDA Chief Executive Officer Anuj Malik says that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s intention is to provide employment to the youth of this area by providing skill development training. In view of this, an MoU is being signed with NIELIT. This MoU will be exchanged in front of CM Yogi on GIDA Day. The youth of Eastern Uttar Pradesh will be provided employment by making them skilled as per the requirements of the industries of this region. For this, a skill development center will be opened in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA). On the initiative of GIDA, this center will be opened and operated by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). On the foundation day celebration of GIDA (30 November). MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) for this Skill Development Center will be exchanged in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In the same ceremony, an MoU will also be signed with Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for providing raw material to the entrepreneurs of the Plastic Park. Will be transferred.

Plastic Park units will get raw material from GAIL

For the Skill Development Centre, a building constructed with 9,280 square meter space will be provided free of cost by GIDA to NIELIT. Here the local youth will be given employment training as per the demand of the industries. In this center, training will also be given for new sectors like Information and Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning etc. With this, local youth will be able to get employment with the changing times. CEO GIDA, Anuj Malik Told that the ambitious Plastic Park project will get further momentum on the foundation day of GIDA. The units to be set up in the Plastic Park will be provided raw material by GAIL at the project site itself. For this, an MoU will be exchanged in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on November 30. The grant will be completed. Plastic Park Project has been developed by GIDA on 88 acres in Sector-28 along the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. Here, space and all necessary infrastructure facilities will be available for 92 units of plastic industry. About 5000 people will get employment in this. The process of allotment of plots to 35 entrepreneurs in Plastic Park has been taken by GIDA. An investment of about Rs 165 crore is proposed in this allotment.

CIPET center will open in Plastic Park

In the Plastic Park, GIDA has also made arrangements to provide 5 acres of free land for the center of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) at the project site. With the opening of CIPET’s centre, the units being established in the Plastic Park will be assured of availability of skilled artisans and will also be able to ensure the quality of the products being made by them.
