Electricity bills will not be deposited in all the districts of UP till June 12, UPPCL has given message-mail to the consumers

Bareilly. Integration of the online billing system of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) in urban areas is being done. Due to which the electricity bills of urban areas and Ayodhya rural (rural) areas of all the districts of UP including Bareilly will not be deposited till 8 pm on June 12. UPPCL has given this information to the consumers through phone messages and mails. However, UPPCL regrets the inconvenience caused to the consumers due to suspension of billing and payment services till 8 pm on 12th June. Due to this, the consumers of Bareilly city will not be able to deposit their outstanding electricity bill for 2 days. However, after this, the burden on the consumers’ pocket will increase when the bill is deposited after the date is out.

Consumers’ connections will not be disconnected

However, on these days, the connections of the consumers will not be disconnected if there is an outstanding electricity bill. Due to the improvement work in the billing system, there will be a problem in depositing the bills. Billing counters and online system of Bareilly, Pilibhit, Badaun and Shahjahanpur of Bareilly division will remain closed. Due to this, bill submission, bill amendment, name change, load increase and many other works will be affected at 24 bill counters in the city. The Superintending Engineer told that the bill of those whose connection has been disconnected will also be deposited after June 12.

Electricity bills will be deposited in rural areas

This will not affect the billing system of rural areas. Billing services will continue in the towns of Amla, Mirganj, Faridpur, Fatehganj West, Shergarh, Sheeshgarh, Bhuta, Shahi, Deorania, Rithora, Santhal, Sirauli, Fatehganj East, Aliganj, Bahedi and Nawabganj etc. in Bareilly Dehat.
