The festive season in India, which lasts for about 42 days, has proved to be very good in terms of increase in vehicle sales. Role of fame subsidy is important

The biggest thing is that the subsidy given by the government under the Fame-2 scheme has a greater role in increasing the sales of vehicles. However, after the government reduced the FAME subsidy by 25 percent, there was a decline in the sales of electric two-wheelers in the current financial year. As a result, the sales of electric two-wheelers reached about 1,05,537 units in May 2023, but their sales picked up pace again in June, which continued till the month of November. During the month of November alone, the sale of electric two-wheelers in the country stood at 91,172 units, which accounts for about 56 percent of the total sales of electric vehicles.
