Bareilly: The election of the executive body of Bareilly Municipal Corporation of Uttar Pradesh will be held on Monday. 12 members will be elected in the Municipal Executive. In this, it is decided to elect 10 members of BJP and 2 members of SP. BJP has almost decided the names of all the 10 candidates. But it is expected to change in the last phase. The names of councilors Arendra Arora Kukki, Nidhi Saxena, Mahima Commando, Sarvesh Rastogi, Neeraj Gupta, Seema Patel, Rampal Gangwar etc. have been decided by the BJP. On the other hand, from the SP, councilors Salim Patwari and Aleem Khan Sultani have been made candidates for the executive elections.
After the commencement of the meeting of the Municipal Board, all the 80 councilors of the Municipal Corporation will vote and elect the Executive Committee. The officers of the Municipal Corporation have made preparations for the election. The BJP has 51 councilors in the Municipal Corporation, while the SP has 14 councillors. Along with this, 3 from the Congress, 2 from the IMC, one from the Lok Dal, and one from the AIMIM have been elected. The rest are independent councillors. Has made preparations. Police will also be present during this. This election will be held under the chairmanship of Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam.

For this the councilors have started laying pots. 12 executive members will elect the vice president. But this time also it is certain that the Deputy Chairman of the BJP will be elected. In this, the names of Shalini Johri and Sarvesh Rastogi have emerged as strong contenders.
Election of members of District Planning Committee on 25th
The members of the District Planning Committee are to be elected from amongst the newly elected members of the Municipal Body. Enrollment has been done in this. The withdrawal of nominations will take place on 21st and the election is to be held on 25th June. It is said that 7 members have nominated from unreserved category, one from scheduled caste female category, three from scheduled caste male and 2 from other backward class female.
