In the meeting, a presentation was given on the action taken so far by the EOU. It was told that between 2017 and 2022, 6073 accused have been arrested in the state. Last year 2031 accused were caught. Bihar Police has recovered 16 thousand 691 kg Ganja, 179 kg Charas, 6.35 kg Heroin, 7.61 kg Smack, 85 kg Brown Sugar and 6728 kg Doda and other drugs in 2022. Opium cultivation in 620 acres in 2021-22 and 1289 acres in 2022-23 was destroyed.
