Eid 2024 Eid on 11th April, Namaz will be held in 37018 Eidgahs and mosques

Lucknow: Eid (EID 2024) will be celebrated on 11 April in the entire country including UP. The police department has made complete preparations to conduct the Eid prayers successfully. According to ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will be offered in a total of 37018 Eidgahs and mosques in UP. During this period, a total of 2912 sensitive places have been identified. Sector scheme has been implemented at these places.

Police headquarters will keep an eye
ADG LO Amitabh Yash said that riot control plan has been rehearsed in all the districts and commissionerates. To successfully conduct Eid prayers (EID 2024), 241 company PAC force, 3 company SDRF, 8 company CAPF, 229 company CAPF have been deployed. Two Additional Superintendents of Police and 6 Deputy Superintendents of Police have also been assigned duty from the Police Headquarters. A team of women police personnel in civil dress have been deployed with body worn cameras and binoculars.

Drone camera surveillance at namaz places
The places of Namaz (Eid Ki Namaj) will be monitored with drone cameras. Duty of 4800 two-wheelers of Call 112 has also been imposed in view of the security arrangements during this period. Coordination has been established with the Municipal Corporation, Health Department and Electricity Department for cleanliness, electricity system and other essential items.

Do not offer namaz outside Idgah and mosque premises: Farangi Mahali
On the other hand, Imam Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali of Lucknow Eidgah has issued advisory for Eid prayers. He has appealed not to offer namaz outside the Idgah and mosque premises. If the mosque is filled with worshipers, then namaz can be offered in another mosque or on the rooftop also. He has also asked to keep the volume of loudspeakers as per the prescribed standards and to park the vehicles properly. He said that this year the Sadka-e-Fitr of one person has been fixed at Rs 65.
