Education Department released Rs 10 billion for Bihar Teacher Salary

Bihar Teacher Salary: The Education Department has given great news to the teachers who have been posted in government schools of the state after passing the teacher appointment examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The department has released Rs 10.44 billion to pay the salaries of these school teachers. Teachers are to be paid salaries for March from this released amount.

Instructions given to DEO-DPO

Shahjahan, Administrative Officer of Bihar Education Project, has given necessary guidelines to all the District Education Officers (DEO) and District Program Officers (DPO) of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan of the state regarding this salary payment.

These officers will be responsible if irregularities are found

In the instructions issued, the District Education Officers have been asked to review the salaries of the newly appointed teachers as per the rules and pay their salaries as soon as possible and inform the office about it. Along with this, the officials have also been warned that if any kind of irregularity is found in this matter, then all the responsibility for it will be on the concerned District Education Officer and Program Officers.

Amount cannot be spent on other items

Let us tell you that even before this amount, an appropriate amount had been released. In this way, the amount is already present in the accounts of the districts. At present this amount has been given under the head of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. The Education Department has allocated this amount district wise for salary payment. This amount cannot be spent on any other item.
