ED’s time expired, CM Hemant Soren did not tell the place of interrogation

ED Summons to CM Hemant Soren: Chief Minister Hemant Soren did not inform the ED about the place for interrogation. However, the deadline given by the ED to reveal the location ended on Sunday. Due to the Chief Minister not giving information about the place within the stipulated time limit, the possibility of interrogation has reduced. It is noteworthy that the ED had sent six summons to the Chief Minister in connection with the investigation of the IIR (No. RNZO/25/23) registered in the case of Bhanu Pratap, a revenue employee of Badagain zone. But he did not appear for questioning. He had challenged the ED summons in the Supreme Court, calling it malicious and politically motivated. The Supreme Court had rejected the petition. But the Chief Minister was given permission to file a petition in the High Court. In the light of this order, the Chief Minister had filed a petition in the High Court, but he did not get relief even from the High Court. After this ED sent him summons. In response, the Chief Minister wrote a letter informing him that his property had been declared in Income Tax and purchased from a legitimate source.
