ED’s interrogation of former minister Yogendra Sao begins

Ranchi: Former Jharkhand minister Yogendra Sao appeared at the ED office in Ranchi on Wednesday. The investigating agency has started interrogating him. The Enforcement Directorate had called him to the ED office on April 3 for questioning in a case related to illegal sand trade. Let it be known that ED had raided Amba Prasad and his close relatives on March 12. During the raid, ED had recovered a total of Rs 30 lakh from various places.

15 lakh rupees were found from CO Shashi Bhushan’s house

Out of this, Rs 15 lakh was found from the house of Govindpur (Dhanbad) CO Shashi Bhushan. At the same time, Rs 11 lakh was recovered from the house of Yogendra Sao’s brother-in-law Mukesh Sao. Apart from this, many documents including mobile phones were recovered. Today the ED team will interrogate him on all these things. Let us tell you that many cases have been registered against Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad and his father Yogendra Sao regarding illegal land grabbing, extortion and sand smuggling scandals.

ED had raided on March 12

Based on this, ED had raided many places on March 12. Apart from cash, ED had recovered hundreds of land documents from Shashibhushan’s residence. ED has interrogated Shashibhushan in matters related to the source of money and land. Today again he has been called for questioning. Apart from this, ED also interrogated a person named Ajit of Hazaribagh who is said to be a relative of Amba Prasad. After interrogating Yogendra Sao, now ED will also interrogate MLA Amba Prasad on 4th April and brother Ankit on 5th April.
