ED tightened its grip on many ministers including the CM of these states! These big names including Hemant-Kejriwal are included

ED Raid: It has not even been three days since the year 2024 started that ED is again showing its dominance. Summons Arvind Kejriwal for questioning on January 2, 2024, then early morning on January 3, ED raids at 10 locations in Ranchi and Rajasthan. Most of these raids were on the residences of people close to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. ED has sent summons to the Chief Ministers of Delhi and Jharkhand. Even after sending summons to Hemant Soren seven times and Arvind Kejriwal three times, they have not come for questioning. Today we will discuss about which states’ ED action is going on against the CM or other ministers of the government.

Hemant Soren

ED is calling Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for questioning in the mining lease case. Seven summons have been sent in this regard. But, CM Hemant Soren has called it motivated and has not gone for questioning.

Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia

ED sent summons to the Delhi Chief Minister for questioning in the liquor scam case, which he has called illegal. Also Arvind Kejriwal said that this is a conspiracy of the Central Government to get him arrested. Let us tell you that in this case, former Education Minister of Delhi and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is already in jail.

Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav

In the year 2023, ED has already raided the residences of former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in the land-for-job case. This case of land for job scam is said to be 14 years old. This scam is from the time when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister. It is claimed that Lalu Yadav, when he was the Railway Minister, had got people’s land registered in exchange of giving them jobs in the Railways. Let us tell you that Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. CBI had registered a case in this matter on May 18.

Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi

Even Tamil Nadu government has not been able to escape from the action of ED. In July 2023, Enforcement Directorate officials had searched the house and other properties of Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi. If we talk about the case, the ED search is based on complaints that Ponmudi, during his previous tenure as minister, had illegally allotted red sand mining contracts to his son and benami. State CM MK Stalin had also strongly attacked this matter.

Similarly, ED raids are taking place in many states every day in which the names of some state government ministers also come to the fore. In many states including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, UP, Bengal, names of many ministers have come up in the scam against which ED is investigating. In this sequence, latest developments are coming out from Jharkhand and Delhi.
