ED raids the houses of two sand traders in Dhanbad, Broadson director Mithilesh Singh arrested

Dhanbad: ED Patna team raided the houses of two sand traders of Dhanbad on Thursday morning. At seven in the morning, the ED team reached the house of Surendra Jindal, resident of Dhaiya Chanchani Colony, Dhanbad and Baban Singh, resident of Jaiprakash Nagar street number 8. The team did not leave their houses till late at night. Sources said that this raid has been conducted in connection with the cases related to the sand scam of Bihar.

The ED team along with CRPF jawans reached Dhaiya Chanchani Colony in four vehicles. There was a ban on entry of outsiders and media persons into the colony. Only people living in the colony were allowed to move. The team continued investigating at Surendra Jindal’s residence throughout the day. ED has already raided his house also. The house of sand trader Baban Singh living in Jai Prakash Nagar street number eight was also raided.

Patna ED team has already raided the houses of Jag Narayan Singh and Surendra Jindal of Dhanbad in the sand scam. Jag Narayan Singh and his son Satish Singh have been arrested and sent to jail.

Broadson director Mithilesh Singh arrested

IDI has taken major action in the case of sand scam and disproportionate assets. ED on Thursday arrested Mithilesh Kumar Singh, director of Broadson Commodity Private Limited. ED had called him to Patna for questioning. He is a resident of Bihar and a big sand businessman of Jharkhand. Actually, there are many people under the investigation of ED in the sand scam case. Earlier, the agency had arrested JDU MLC Radhacharan Seth and his son Kanhaiya Prasad in this case and sent them to jail. At the same time, Jagnarayan Singh alias Jagan Singh and his son Satish Singh, associated with sand business, were also arrested by ED from Patna and sent to jail.
