ED action in Jharkhand: After interrogation, the ED has arrested seven people in the land scam case. All the accused will be produced in the court today. A Circle Inspector is also included in the arrested accused.
It may be known that on Thursday, the ED raided a total of 21 locations of 18 people involved in land business, including IAS officer Chhavi Ranjan, Zonal Officer Manoj Kumar, in connection with the misappropriation of government land.
18 locations in Jharkhand, one in Bihar and two in West Bengal were included in the purview of the raid. Chhavi Ranjan is currently posted as Director of Social Welfare. During the raid, ED questioned Chhavi Ranjan at his residence itself. After hours of questioning, he was released at eight in the evening. Now the ED will call him and interrogate him.
