According to information, an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale occurred 30 km southeast of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir. The effect of the earthquake was seen in many cities of India including Delhi-NCR, Jammu Kashmir, Chandigarh. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 5.4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred at 1.33 am.
Earthquake tremors across North India
The National Center for Seismology said that an earthquake of 5.4 magnitude has occurred in Doda of Jammu and Kashmir. Earthquake tremors were felt all over North India. The epicenter of the earthquake was six kilometers deep. During this, no news has been received about any kind of loss of life or property.

Earthquake has no connection with Cyclone Biparjoy

An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 comes under the category of moderate to strong earthquake. Tremors have been felt in many areas. There is a possibility of an earthquake ranging from 4 to 4.4 on the Richter scale. This earthquake has nothing to do with cyclone Biparjoy.
