E-Sports Open Championship starts for the first time in Bihar, players will participate online, know the benefits

Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority has informed that e-sports has got official recognition as multi-sports in the country. It was included as a recognized sport in the Asian Games held in China this year and there is every possibility that it will be officially included in the upcoming Olympic Games. This open championship competition is being organized for boys and girls living in Bihar whose minimum age is 12 to 16 years. Currently, competition is being held for four games like FIFA 23, Real Cricket 24, e-chess and BGMI games and the minimum age limit of the participants has been kept different for each game. In this, the age has been fixed at 12 years for Chess, 13 years for FIFA 23 and Real Cricket 23 and 16 years for BGMI. Chess, Real Cricket and BGMI competitions will be online. However, playing FIFA 23 requires a game console and cannot be played online. Therefore, its competition will be held on the final day itself, 28th December.
