Ranchi: Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu told ED that the flat in Gurgaon is his. On the other hand, he said that he had nothing to do with the BMW car seized from the Chief Minister’s residence in Delhi. With this, the work of extracting data from the digital devices of Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner Ram Niwas Yadav and former press advisor Abhishek alias Pintu at the ED office in Hinnu was completed on Saturday night. For this reason he was not called on Sunday. The second phase of questioning of Vinod Singh will be done after analyzing the data. MP Dheeraj Sahu had appeared at the ED’s Ranchi office for the first time on February 10 in the light of the summons sent by the ED. He was called again on Sunday as the work of extracting data from his digital device was not completed on 11th. The work of extracting data from the digital device will be completed on Sunday night. After analyzing this, they will be called for further questioning. During the initial questioning of the MP over two days, he accepted the flat in Anant Raj Estate, Gurgaon, which Kolkata businessman Premnath Aggarwal had described as his office. During interrogation, he admitted that his son Harshit and Premnath’s son Yogesh Aggarwal used to study together. Both are friends. Therefore, they used the flat in Gurgaon during their visit to Delhi.
Hemant Soren appeared in court today, Kalpana came to meet him
After the expiry of the remand period, Hemant Soren will be presented in the court of the Special Judge of PMLA on Monday. ED may demand extension of the remand period for further investigation. The ED team had arrested Hemant Soren on the night of 31 January in the land case located in Badgai. On the request of ED, the court ordered remand for the first five days. After the remand period of the first phase ended on February 7, the ED demanded extension of the remand period. Accepting ED’s request, the court extended the remand period till February 12. This period of remand is ending on Monday. Here on Sunday, his wife Kalpana Soren reached the ED office on Airport Road to meet Hemant Soren. She came out after staying in the ED office for about half an hour.
