During checking at the gate of Gorakhnath temple, the police detained two youths from Jharkhand with three cartridges on Wednesday evening. Both the youth are residents of Garhwa in Jharkhand state. At present both the youth are being interrogated by the police, IB and LIU team. If sources are to be believed, both the youths had come to Gorakhpur by train in search of employment. When they were going to visit the temple, during a search at the gate, cartridges were found from both the youths.

During interrogation by the police, both the youths were not able to tell from where the cartridges in their bags came from. During interrogation, it has come to light that one of the two youths had driven a car in Gorakhpur 11 years ago and he has relatives in Gorakhpur. Let us tell you that even before this, on July 14, 2023, businessman Subodh, a resident of Bihar state, was caught with a pistol at the Gorakhnath temple gate. After this the police took him into custody. During interrogation by the crime branch and intelligence agencies, he told that he had come to the city with his son to visit Gorakhnath temple and do shopping.

No information about where they got the cartridges from
On Wednesday, the security personnel of Gorakhnath temple were checking the people coming and going to the temple at the main gate. Then two youths reached the temple gate to enter the temple where the security personnel searched them. So three live cartridges of 315 bore were recovered from his bag. After this, Gorakhnath police took both the youth into custody and brought them to Gorakhnath police station. Police, IB and LIU teams also reached there after receiving the information. He is not able to explain clearly from where he got the cartridges. Police officials are refusing to tell anything in this regard.
