Dunki OTT Release: Finally! Shahrukh Khan-Taapsee Pannu’s film Dunky released on OTT, know when and where to watch it

Donkey is one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2023. Netflix released the poster of the film and released it on the eve of Valentine’s Day. Its caption reads, “Pack your bags! After Dunky across the world, Shahrukh Khan is coming home. Donkey, now streaming on Netflix!”

Dinky tells the story of a group of friends who try to move abroad for better opportunities. However, they are unable to get a visa because they do not know English, after which they try to cross the border illegally.

The film Donkey earned more than Rs 300 crore at the Indian box office. Last month, Box Office Worldwide reported that Dunky was likely to be submitted for an Academy Award nomination, although there has been no official confirmation yet.

Talking about his four-year gap before ‘Pathan’, Shahrukh said at an event, “This is new because I have been working for 33 years and you take such a big gap. Normally, you get a little nervous. And you think, I hope I got the film right.

Shahrukh further said, before that there were some of my films which did not do so well, so I started feeling that I was not making good films, but I think people loved it more than my films (Pathan, Jawan and “For Donkey.”

Rajkumar Hirani said in an interview about working with Shahrukh, “You always want to make a film with a good story.” Shahrukh liked the story from the beginning. After doing action films as an actor, he also wanted to do something different and that is why he joined it and was happy with it.

In the year 2023, Shahrukh Khan gave two big back-to-back hits with Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ and Atlee’s ‘Jawaan’. It is being said that Shahrukh is considering new scripts and ideas for his upcoming film.
