However, recently there were reports that the OTT rights of the movie have reportedly been sold. According to media reports, the film has sold its OTT rights to Jio Cinema for Rs 230 crore. However, there has been no official confirmation of this. Announcing the film, Shah Rukh wrote on Instagram, “Dear @hirani.rajkumar sir, you are my Santa Claus… you start, I will reach on time… in fact I will be on the set! I feel humbled and excited to finally be working with you. “I am bringing #Dunki to the theaters for all of you on 22nd December 2023.”
