Dumri By-Poll: Counting of Dumri by-election will start on September 8, counting of votes will start from 8 am.

Dumri Bypoll Counting: All preparations for counting of votes for Dumri Assembly by-election have been completed. The counting of votes will be held on Friday i.e. September 8 in the premises of Agricultural Produce Market Committee located in Pachamba. A three-tier security arrangement has been made for Vajragriha. Votes were cast on Tuesday in the by-election held on the vacant seat due to the death of Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto. According to the Election Commission, 64.84 percent voting took place here. The reputation of six candidates including cabinet minister Baby Devi is at stake. Earlier, after the completion of polling on Tuesday, EVMs of all 373 booths were deposited in Vajragriha till late night.

Counting will be completed in 14 rounds

Reserve Superintendent Deepak Kumar Sharma said that three-tier security arrangements have been made for Vajragriha in the market committee. There will be tight security at the center even on the day of counting. DC cum District Election Officer Naman Priyesh Lakra said that 16 tables will be set up for counting of votes. One table will be available for ETPBS. There will be an RO table on which postal ballots will be counted. He told that the counting of votes will be completed in 14 rounds. For this, 25 assistants, 25 supervisors and 25 micro observers are being deputed inside the centre.

Political parties keep an eye on vote counting after elections

Giridih. After the completion of Dumri by-election, political parties are now busy in voting analysis. Information about the trends is being taken from the booth committee members and workers. Along with this, their views are also being taken from neutral political analysts. In the offices of all the political parties, discussions continued throughout the day as to who would get how many votes.

Preparations being made for counting of votes

On September 8, the counting of votes will take place in the Giridih Bazar Samiti. In this regard, preparations are being made by the ‘India’ alliance and the NDA. It has been decided to send workers to the counting hall during the counting of votes. Everyone’s pass is being made. Many instructions are also being given to these people by the organization.

Fate of six candidates is locked in EVM

The fate of six candidates in the by-election is sealed in EVMs. These include ‘India’ supported JMM candidate co-minister Baby Devi, NDA supported AJSU Party candidate Yashoda Devi, AIMAI’s Abdul Mobin Rizvi, independent candidates Kamal Prasad Sahu, Narayan Giri and Roshan Lal Turi.

She will complete the works of late Jagannath Mahato and will also get the blessings of the public.
