Jharkhand News: With the announcement of the date of Dumri assembly by-election, the model code of conduct has come into force in Giridih and Bokaro districts. During this, no programs like inauguration, foundation stone laying, picketing, demonstration will be organized in the district. At the same time, violation of the code of conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The work of making voters aware is also being carried out at a fast pace. Work is being done at many levels to ensure more than 75 percent polling.
Voting on September 5, 2023
Let us tell you that the Election Commission of India has announced the date of Dumri assembly by-election. Under this, voting will be held on September 5, while the counting of votes will take place on September 8. Prior to this, nominations from August 10 to 17 will be scrutinized on August 18, while the date of withdrawal of nominations is August 21.
Control room will be built in Dumri
Talking to journalists, Giridih DC Naman Priyesh Lakda gave detailed information related to Dumri by-election. DC said that apart from two flying squads, three static teams, two video surveillance and one assistant observer will be deployed in this by-election. Along with this, a control room will be made in Dumri. From where the entire election process will be monitored.
Can vote through multiple ID cards
If you do not have Voter ID, then you do not need to worry. If you are a voter of Dumri assembly constituency, you can vote through voter ID and many other ID cards. If you have Aadhaar Card, MNREGA Job Card, Post Office or Bank Passbook with photograph, Health Insurance Smart Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Smart Card, Passport, Pension Papers with photograph, Service Card, Official Identity Card which Issued by the MP and MLA and can go to the polling station and vote through the UDID card.

144 implemented in Saria-Bagodar area
With the announcement of the date of Dumri by-election, Saria-Bagodar subdivision officer of Giridih has implemented 144 in the area. SDO of Saria-Bagodar, Kundan Kumar has issued an order regarding this. It has been clearly mentioned in the order that after the implementation of 144, there is a complete ban on bringing and carrying any kind of deadly weapons, firearms or explosive substances in the entire area. This prohibition will not apply to government officials, employees, police officers and police force on duty, wearing khukri by Nepalese and wearing saber by Sikhs. Apart from this, it has been prohibited to take out processions in government-semi-government and local faculties like colleges, high schools or on any common land. The use of loudspeakers will be prohibited in the entire subdivision area from 10 pm to 6 am.
Meeting regarding special brief revision of voter list
A meeting was organized with the leaders of several political parties in the Saria subdivision office. It was presided over by Electoral Registration Officer cum Sub-Divisional Officer Kundan Kumar. Several guidelines were given in the meeting regarding the special brief revision of voter list. Sub-Divisional Officer Bagodar-Saria, Circle Officer Birni, Saria and Bagodar and representatives of several political parties including BJP, JMM, AJSU, Male were present on the occasion.
