Dumri By Election 2023: People showed great enthusiasm even in the rain, voters voted after getting wet, see PHOTOS

During the Dumri by-election, it started raining at 10 o’clock in the day. In such a situation, the number of first voters reaching various polling booths gradually decreased. Voters were stuck in their homes due to intermittent rains. But later a different enthusiasm was seen among the voters. People reached the voter center carrying umbrellas to vote.

Even after the rain, there was no decrease in the enthusiasm of the voters. A long queue of women was seen for voting at booth number 125 community building Rangamati under Dumri assembly constituency. Women stood in line with umbrellas and were seen waiting for their turn.

Voters reached the polling booth despite light rain. Voters have reached the polling station with umbrellas in their hands. Tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the voters.

In polling station number 203-204, voters were seen casting their vote after being drenched in rain. The highest number of women voters was seen.

In Jharkhand’s Dumri, 43.55 per cent polling has been recorded till 1 pm. Even after the rain, people are coming to vote. Out of which 47 percent polling took place in Nawadih block at 1 pm.

In the midst of the rain, women reached the polling booth to cast their vote even from many Naxal-affected areas. Women carrying umbrellas were seen queuing up for voting at booth number-359 of New Primary School, Telibandh.
