Dumka: The meeting of Dumka district branch of Jharkhand State Anganwadi Employees Nutrition Sakhi Sangh was held under the chairmanship of State President Manuel Murmu. In the meeting held in the presence of State Patron Vijay Kumar Das, Poshan Sakhis of Dumka, Masliya, Jama, Ramgarh, Shikaripada, Ranishwar, Gopikandar, Kathikund, Saraiyahat and Jarmundi decided to organize an agitational program to return the service. In the winter session, it was decided to stage a dharna at the residence of the MLA and MP to raise the issue of Poshan Sakhi in the Jharkhand Assembly and the Lok Sabha of the country and receive letters of support. As per the fixed agitation programme, a dharna will be held on 27th November at the Kathikund residence of Shikaripada MLA Nalin Soren and on 29th November at the residence of MLA Basant Soren and MLA Sita Soren in Dumka and letters of support will be taken for the return of Poshan Sakhi to service. Similarly, on December 1st, letters of support will be taken by sitting in a dharna in Jarmundi in front of Minister Badal Patralekh.
On December 3, a dharna will be held at Jama’s Baisa, the residence of MP Sunil Soren, in the name of the Prime Minister and he will be asked to raise the issue of Poshan Sakhi in the winter session in the Lok Sabha and a letter of support will be taken for the withdrawal of Poshan Sakhi. . A similar movement will be organized on 6th December to draw the attention of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey. Addressing the meeting, State Patron Vijay Kumar Das said that the phased movement will continue until the service of Poshan Sakhi is resumed. Said that this is an election year. If our demands and Poshan Sakhi’s services are not returned, an all-out battle will be fought.
