The meeting of Dumka District Mining Task Force was held in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Anjaneyulu Dodde. The Deputy Commissioner said that the officers should ensure that illegal mining and transportation does not take place under any circumstances. Make sure to identify those involved in illegal mining and transportation and take action as per rules. The Deputy Commissioner said that zonal officers and police station in-charges should regularly check vehicles in their respective areas and provide reports every month. Sub-divisional officers and DSP should also jointly check the vehicles daily. During this time, also check all the necessary documents of the vehicles, if the documents are not found correct, make sure to take action as per the rules. The Deputy Commissioner directed that the work of dosing of illegal mines should be done continuously and also ensure necessary action is taken by identifying the concerned person. Said that the drivers should also be tested through breath analyzer so that there is no drink and drive, action should be taken against those who drink and drive as per rules. Apart from DFO Satwik, Additional Collector Rajeev Kumar, District Mining Officer Krishna Kumar Kisku, all the police station in-charges, zonal officers and senior officers were present on the occasion.
50 beneficiaries selected for Ved Vyas Housing Scheme
A meeting of the Fisheries Departmental Selection Committee was called under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Anjaneyulu Dodde on Wednesday under the Ved Vyas Housing Scheme run by the Fisheries Department. A total of 50 beneficiaries were selected under different heads in the meeting. Let us tell you that the benefit of the said scheme, run by the Fisheries Division of the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, is given to those beneficiaries who are traditional fish farmers or fishermen or who are actively involved in fish production, fish seed production, fishing in natural water resources or Engaged in fish sales. Apart from the District Agriculture Officer, District Animal Husbandry Officer, District Animal Development Officer, representative members of the MLA, representatives of the Fisheries Cooperation Committee nominated by the government, representatives of fish farmers nominated by the government and District Fisheries Officer were present in the meeting.
