Dumka: Ramgarh Block Level Bankers Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lead Bank Manager Chandra Shekhar Patel. In this, Block Agriculture Officer in-charge Ashish Ranjan told that a total of 15239 farmers of the block are covered under PM Kisan Yojana. Of these, KCC has been issued by various banks for 14063 farmers. Till now 1176 farmers covered under PM Kisan Yojana have not been given the benefit of KCC. LDM directed the branch managers of all banks to also cover the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana with KCC. He also said that 241 pending applications for bank linkage of women self-help groups formed by JSLPS will be approved soon. Entrepreneur Coordinator Bhimsant Soren said that out of total 72 applications of PMFME, 47 have been rejected by the banks. Expressing displeasure over this, LDM said that banks have an important role in removing unemployment and creating employment. Every branch manager was instructed to approve minimum 10 Mudra loan applications. When BEEO Muhammad Jabbar raised the issue of indifference of bank employees in opening the accounts of school children, instructions were given to open the accounts of all the school children.
