Dumka: Former Chief Minister and State President of BJP Babulal Marandi has said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has understood that it is difficult for him to survive now. Therefore they are preparing for their options. Speaking to BollywoodWallah in Masanjore, Dumka, Mr. Marandi said that the ED has summoned the Chief Minister for the seventh time. He did not appear in the earlier summons. Now in such a situation the ED has asked him to decide the place. In such a situation, the Chief Minister has understood that it is difficult for him to survive now. Shri Marandi said that one pays as he does. There is also a saying that as you do, so shall you pay. That’s why they have to do this. They are now making room for whomever they will make CM. Shri Marandi said that by suddenly making someone resign and keeping the matter of resignation hidden for a day, it seems that a big deal has been done or is being done.

Mr. Marandi said that Hemant Soren knows very well that he cannot make his wife contest the elections from the second reserved seat. His wife Kalpana Soren is a resident of Odisha. Cannot contest elections on reserved seat on the basis of domicile there. In such a situation, if he makes his wife contest on a reserved seat, then that seat will be lost if someone challenges it in the court. They cannot take advantage of this. That’s why a seat like Gandeya was chosen. Mr. Marandi said that even if she had got the residential certificate from Jharkhand, she would not have been able to contest the elections, a decision has recently come from the High Court that the benefits of the reserved seat cannot be availed even for a job. On this basis, married daughters-in-law in Jharkhand were not allowed to contest elections in the last Panchayat elections.
