A five-day non-residential orientation workshop of principals on school leadership started on Thursday at Dumka District Education and Training Institute DIET Dumka. Principals and teachers of 78 schools from different schools of the district are participating in this. The workshop was inaugurated by area education officer JAMA Anurag Minj, principal in-charge of DIET Madhushree Kumari and nodal in-charge of training Virendra Kumar jointly by lighting the lamp. Chief guest Mr. Minj said that the school is run according to the school leader. Therefore, you should imbibe all the qualities of leadership within yourself. Be able to present yourself as an ideal example for children and teachers in school. The stage management, welcome speech and topic introduction were done by DIET faculty member and workshop instructor Priyankar Parmesh. On the first day of the training, information was given about the definition of leadership, qualities of a successful leader, and their specialties regarding management and administration. Registration of teacher participants was done by faculty member Kishore Kumar Mandal. District Leadership Academy members Mahesh Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan, Praveen Chandra Yadav, teachers Shailesh Kumar Mishra, Ashok Kumar Sah, Tuntun Kumar etc. were present in the workshop. Diet members Sushma Hansda, Rekha Sao, Shri Subrata Gorai and clerks Santosh Kumar and Sanatan Tudu also played a notable role in the program.
